How we maintain a fair, transparent, and balanced platform for tourists and local business owners across Gilgit Baltistan.

Our Promise of Fairness

Balti.pk was built to bridge the gap between travelers around the world and the incredible local hospitality of Gilgit Baltistan. To protect this ecosystem, we hold a firm standard of absolute fairness and transparency. We act as a neutral intermediary where both users (guests) and business owners are held mutually accountable.


1. Platform Transparency

We do not employ hidden fees or dark patterns. All information regarding pricing, business policies, and available amenities is required to be stated up front by our listed property and transport partners. Our goal is to ensure you know exactly what you are paying for and who you are renting from before you arrive in Skardu.

2. Information Accuracy & Business Conduct

Business owners are solely responsible for keeping their listings 100% accurate. If any business intentionally misrepresents their services (e.g., faking photos, lying about amenities, or hiding costs), users are encouraged to Report the Listing. Upon investigation, businesses found violating our trust standard will be banned from the platform indefinitely.

3. Authentic Reviews

Feedback is the lifeblood of our platform. To maintain authenticity:

  • Customers can only leave a review if they have a verified user account.
  • Once posted, customers cannot edit or delete their reviews (ensuring they remain a permanent, unedited record of their experience).
  • Business owners have absolutely zero ability to modify, hide, or delete reviews on their listings.

4. Booking Agreements & Liability

Balti.pk serves as a discovery and booking connectivity platform. While we strictly vet businesses and enforce our rules, the ultimate fulfillment of a service (hotel stay, car rental, tour) is a direct agreement between the Customer and the Business Owner. We are not liable for direct losses incurred during travel, but our support team is always available to assist in resolving disputes impartially.

5. Privacy & Data Collection

Your privacy is incredibly important to us. We collect minimal routing details and contact information necessary purely to facilitate secure bookings between you and the local owner.

  • We do not sell your personal data to third-party ad networks.
  • Financial information is never stored on our servers; it is processed through verified secure banking gateways.
  • Your phone and email are only shared with the specific verified business you agree to book with.
