Three rules behind every rating
These policies work together. Remove any one of them and reviews become easy to game.
Locked after you post
Once a review is submitted, it stays on record. Guests cannot edit or delete their own reviews after posting. That rule exists so people write carefully the first time, and so averages cannot be quietly rewritten later.
Owners cannot touch reviews
Business owners have no tools to edit, hide, or remove reviews on their listings. What you read in the feedback section is not filtered through an owner-controlled panel.
Reviews sit on top of verification
Listings on Balti.pk are meant to be owner-verified before they go public. Reviews are a second layer: they describe what actually happened after someone booked or visited. When those two stories disagree, our trust team can step in.

If a listing misrepresented rooms, transport, or pricing, do not rely on reviews alone. Open a listing report with dates, photos, and the page URL so we can investigate fairly and contact both sides.
Manipulation and abuse
Coordinated fake praise, paid review rings, and harassment through the review system undermine everyone who depends on honest tourism in Gilgit-Baltistan. We treat those patterns seriously and may remove access to review features or listings when abuse is confirmed.
